Fire Pump Testing

The fire pump is one of the most critical pieces of firefighting equipment needed in any operation. A fire pump is part of a sprinkler system and is powered by electricity, steam or diesel. The pump can be connected to static water sources like tanks and reservoirs or it might be connected to a public underground water source. A building with low water pressure is likely to have a fire pump. As a building owner or property manager, you are required to inspect and test your fire pumps regularly.
